Magsaysay Wins in the Lloyd’s List Awards, Global 2011

Magsaysay Maritime Corporation was named winner of the 2011 Lloyd’s List Global Training Award last night at the prestigious annual industry Awards Gala held in London. The award was presented in recognition of Magsaysay’s “outstanding commitment to staff and student training and contribution towards improving training standards for the maritime industry”, and was accepted by Magsaysay Maritime Corporation (MMC) President Mr. Marlon R. Roño.

MMC’s unwavering commitment to training its seafarers, continued investments in training facilities, program development, and sustained approach to improve the standards of the maritime industry was recognized among the other prestigious finalists, Anglo−Eastern Maritime Training Centre and Recruit Training Command, US Navy.

This achievement is a tribute to our principals, partners and seafarers who share the same long-term vision of training and developing people.
