NAC Expansion

MTC expands NAC Assessments

In compliance with Maritime Training Council’s Guidelines in the Implementation of Resolution No. 5, Series of 2010, the Magsaysay Training Center (MTC) shall provide training with assessment to all trainees of the following courses resulting to the issuance of their Certificates of Proficiency (COP):

Crowd Management Course
Ship Security Officer (SSO)
General Tanker Familiarization (GTF)
Specialized Training in Oil Tankers (STOT)
Specialized Training in Oil Tankers (STOT)
Specialized Training in Chemical Tankers (STCT)

These are in addition to the following courses for which assessments are being conducted by MTC on behalf of the Philippine Administration:

Basic Safety Training and Instruction (BSC)
Advanced Training in Firefighting (ATFF)
Medical Elementary First Aid (MEFA)

Furthermore, MTC shall accept walk-in applicants for assessment for the issuance of Certificates of Proficiency even if the training was conducted by another accredited Maritime Education and Training (MET) provider.
