The course provides a thorough understanding of the risk assessment for managers and technical officers in the ships. It focuses on the concepts and regulatory requirements. Inclusion of risk awareness for all levels is also included to give emphasis on predicting consequences on such cases.

The participants will be able to include and improve awareness and predict risk or danger associated within the work environment onboard vessels. They are to develop a method in handling preventive and corrective actions in any predictable incidents onboard; and explain the regulatory requirements and concepts of the modern risk management.
